There’s no better way to experience Cape Cod than from the deck of a private yacht. Departing from beautiful Falmouth Harbor, Elite Charters offers fully private boat charters designed around your group, your schedule, and the experience you’re looking for. Whether you’re planning a relaxing afternoon on Vineyard Sound, a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard, a sunset cruise with family, or celebrating a special occasion, every charter is customized from the moment you step aboard.
Unlike crowded sightseeing boats or fixed-route cruises, our private charters give you the freedom to enjoy the water at your own pace. Spend the day exploring secluded beaches, swimming in crystal-clear waters, stopping for lunch on Martha’s Vineyard, or simply cruising the Cape Cod coastline while taking in some of the best scenery New England has to offer.
Falmouth is one of the premier boating destinations on Cape Cod thanks to its protected harbor, easy access to Vineyard Sound, and close proximity to Martha’s Vineyard, Cuttyhunk, Woods Hole, and the Elizabeth Islands. From the moment you leave the dock, you’re minutes away from some of the most beautiful waters in Massachusetts.
At Elite Charters, we believe every trip should feel effortless. Our experienced captain, luxury yacht, and personalized approach allow you to relax while we handle every detail, creating an unforgettable day on the water for couples, families, friends, and corporate groups alike.
Tell us about the day you’ve got in mind and we’ll come back with availability, pricing, and a recommended charter. The more detail you give us, the faster we can match you with the right trip.
Vineyard Sound is one of the most scenic stretches of water on the East Coast — the Cape behind you, the island growing in front of you. Coffee, drinks, music, photos. The crossing is the part most groups end up loving most.
Choosing a private boat charter gives you an experience that simply can’t be matched by traditional sightseeing cruises or ferry services. Instead of following a predetermined schedule with dozens of other passengers, your charter is completely customized around your group and your interests.
Whether you want to spend the afternoon anchored off a quiet beach, cruise through Vineyard Sound, explore Martha’s Vineyard, enjoy dinner by boat, or watch the sun set over Buzzards Bay, the itinerary is yours to create.
Falmouth’s location makes it the ideal departure point for private charters. Within minutes of leaving the harbor, you’ll be cruising some of Cape Cod’s most scenic waters with endless opportunities to explore nearby islands, sandbars, waterfront restaurants, and hidden coves that are difficult to reach any other way.
Our luxury yacht offers comfortable seating, plenty of space to relax, Bluetooth audio, shaded areas, and a smooth ride that allows you to enjoy every moment on the water. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, bachelor or bachelorette party, or simply enjoying a summer afternoon with family, a private charter creates memories that last long after the day is over.
We run to all four major Martha’s Vineyard harbors. The right one depends on what your group wants to do on the island. Crossing time varies from 35 to 75 minutes depending on harbor and conditions.
The Vineyard’s most social harbor. Steps from the dock to Circuit Avenue — restaurants, shops, ice cream, the carousel. Best first MV visit.
The Vineyard’s main working harbor. Less polished than Edgartown, less busy than Oak Bluffs. Good for groups who want a cleaner stop.
The Vineyard’s most refined harbor. Brick sidewalks, upscale boutiques, classic harbor views. Strongly recommend lunch reservations in advance.
A working fishing village on the Vineyard’s quiet west side. Famous for fresh seafood eaten on the dock and the best sunset views on MV.
One of our most popular experiences is a private day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Skip the crowded ferry and arrive by private yacht, giving you the flexibility to spend the day exactly how you choose. Explore the shops of Oak Bluffs, enjoy lunch overlooking Edgartown Harbor, relax on the beach, or simply cruise the island’s picturesque shoreline before returning to Falmouth.
Cape Cod sunsets are unforgettable when viewed from the water. As the sky transforms into brilliant shades of orange, pink, and purple, you’ll enjoy a peaceful evening cruising Vineyard Sound while taking in panoramic views of the coastline. Sunset cruises are perfect for date nights, anniversaries, proposals, or simply ending the day in one of the most beautiful settings Cape Cod has to offer.
A private family charter offers something for everyone. Spend the day swimming, sightseeing, relaxing on deck, spotting seals and other marine life, or visiting nearby islands. Our trips are tailored to families of all ages, making them an unforgettable way to experience Cape Cod together.
Celebrate on the water with a completely private experience for your group. Bring your favorite music, enjoy refreshments onboard, swim in beautiful anchorages, or spend the day exploring Martha’s Vineyard before returning for sunset. Every charter is customized to create the perfect celebration.
Looking for a unique way to entertain clients or reward your team? Private yacht charters offer an unforgettable setting for executive outings, networking events, employee appreciation days, and client entertainment while showcasing the beauty of Cape Cod.
Vineyard Sound is one of the most scenic stretches of water on the East Coast — the Cape behind you, the island growing in front of you. Coffee, drinks, music, photos. The crossing is the part most groups end up loving most.
A short cruise across Vineyard Sound brings you to one of New England’s most iconic islands. From the colorful cottages of Oak Bluffs to the historic streets of Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard offers shopping, waterfront dining, beautiful beaches, and unforgettable scenery.
Known worldwide for its marine research institutions and charming waterfront village, Woods Hole offers picturesque harbors, excellent restaurants, and a vibrant boating atmosphere that’s perfect for a stop along your charter.
For guests seeking a quieter escape, Cuttyhunk provides secluded beaches, crystal-clear waters, excellent fishing, and breathtaking natural beauty that feels worlds away from everyday life.
The protected waters of Vineyard Sound provide ideal cruising conditions throughout the boating season, making it one of the most enjoyable places to spend a day on the water in New England.
The ferry works for some trips. For groups of 4 or more who want the day built around their plans — not a fixed schedule — a private charter is often comparable in cost and significantly better in experience.
Leave when you want, stay as long as you want. No ferry timing to plan around, no rushing to catch the last boat back.
We run to all four MV harbors. Skip the on-island transportation cost — step off the boat exactly where you want to be.
Captain Elliot runs the Falmouth-MV route regularly. He knows the harbor approaches, the conditions, and the best spots for lunch, photos, and shore time.
