WHAT WE TARGET
What's Running, and When
The species you’ll target depend on the date, the tide, and what’s running that day. Captain Elliot makes the call based on real-time conditions. Here’s what’s usually on the menu.
Striped Bass
- 4-5 hour trip
- Strong runs late May–early October
- Peak action June + September
The Cape’s signature inshore catch. Strong runs from late May through early October, with peak action in June and again in September. Light tackle, exciting fight.
Summer Fluke
- 4-5 hour trip
- Drift fishing in shallow water
- Best July–August
Drift fishing in shallow water. Best in midsummer. Great for kids and beginners — the takes are clear, the fight is fun, and the fish are eating-quality.
Tautog (Blackfish)
- 4-5 hour trip
- Bottom fishing around structure
- Strongest spring + fall
A favorite among local anglers. Bottom fishing around structure. Strongest in spring and fall. Good fight, great eating.
Bluefish
- 4-5 hour trip
- Aggressive takes
- When they're running, action is incredible
Aggressive, fast, fun to catch. Variable through the season — when they’re running, the action is incredible. Bring a strong rod.

Most fishing charter sites are written for guys who already own three rods and read fishing forecasts. We run trips for the rest of you — families, beginners, casual anglers, and experienced fishermen who just want a relaxed day.
All Gear Included
Rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures. Federally permitted vessel — no personal fishing license required for guests. You bring food and drinks; we handle the rest.
Family + Beginner Friendly
Inshore conditions are calm. Action is steady. Captain Elliot is patient with first-timers, great with kids, and honest about what's running on a given day.
Tide-Smart Timing
Booking is tide-dependent. We'll work with you on departure timing for your target species. Sometimes early morning, sometimes mid-morning — always when the fish are biting.
